Relentless will always strive to remain a casual raiding guild. As such, we require very minimal in regards to Raid Attendance.
For Scouts (Recruit), you must sign up at least twice per week in order to pass your trial. You should strive to meet all three raids during the weeks of your trial.
For Sergeants (Member), there is no attendance policy in place.
For Champions (Raider), though, we require that each raider raids a minimum of two raids per week to remain active. Failure to do so results in expiration of Raider rank, and person must re-apply for Raider rank when they're able to meet the minimum requirements again. This requires at a very minimum of 75% raid attendance.
As stated in the RAID RULES anyone still not online 5 minutes prior to raid time will likely be replaced at the discretion of the Raid Leader. Exceptions are often made for those who contact the Raid Leader via the proper methods listed below with advance notice. This is also at the discretion of the Raid Leader.
Those who pull outright no-shows without contacting the Raid Leader and without a reasonable and believable explanation will be penalized with automatic sub status for one full week and you will not get any competitive slot. The names of those with No-Show penalties are recorded in the Raid No Shows thread in the forums where all Raid Leaders can see them when setting up teams.
Showing up extremely late and not bothering to contact the Raid Leader counts as a no-show, and a consistent pattern of being late, not showing up, going AFK in the middle of runs or just generally showing a lack of respect for the time of your fellow raiders will result in harsher action being taken.
If you receive a No-Show, learn from that and do better. A second No-Show will result in a demotion from raider status. A third, and final No-Show, will result in removal from the raid team and outright replacement.
If you're consistently having problems with your work schedule, internet connection, etc. let the raid leaders know in advance. Otherwise all penalties are at the discretion of the Guild Master, who is quite reasonable provided you are not abusing the time of your fellow raiders.
Signing Up and Backing Out
Signing up for Raids is simple. Just select the event on the website and click the "Sign-up" button. If you have multiple roles, select the one you wish to perform. Due to composition, you may not get to perform that role during the raid.
If there's something the Raid Leader may need to know, such as how you plan to be specced if you're a hybrid class, that you're unsure you'll be able to make it, that you'd be happy to go but not in place of someone who needs loot, would have to leave early, may not make it on time, etc. please message the Raid Leader.
When signing up, sign up on the toon you wish to raid on. It takes 1 minute to swap toons and sign up. Take the time to do that so the Raid Leader doesn't pull their hair out. If you sign up on an alt, it will be considered that you wish to raid on that alt, and will be sat.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you need to back out of a run a due to something coming up there are only a few right ways to handle it without making your Raid Leader want to pull out their hair (and maybe yours). DO NOT, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES just "Unsubscribe" your subscription to the event.
1) Send the Raid Leader an in-game mail
2) Post in the Official "I Can't Make It/Might Be Late" thread in the forums
3) Post in the Discord Channel
4) (Least preferable but way better than nothing) Get someone else to let the Raid Leader know.
